The context

Why this trial, and how it was set up.

The challenge

Competing in a maturing California market.

Legalization crowded the market. Prices fell, quality expectations rose, and environmental regulation tightened. More fertilizer wasn't the answer — costly, capped, and environmentally damaging. M— needed more output from the same inputs, sustainably.

The solution

A chemical-free device with a track record.

Zoecore had a proven history across fruit trees, row crops, and greens — helping plants absorb more water and take up more nutrients from the same inputs. Cannabis was a new frontier, and M— was among the first four adopters, starting with a free trial.

The pilot

Treated vs. control, everything else equal.

M— routed Zoecore-treated water to some crops and left others untreated. With every other variable held constant, the effect of the treatment could be isolated cleanly — the standard he needed to trust the result.
